A small fire in the dark.

Lampfern started as a frustration with graphic tees that say someone else's thing. A wholesale logo for a company you don't work at, run through a wholesale press, sized to fit a wholesale shape. None of it really felt like the wearer chose it.

We thought the better way was to flip the order — let the buyer do the choosing. Pick a mark from a small, curated library, write the line you actually want printed under it, and we press a one-of-one tee. Every order also comes with a numbered digital collector card, kept somewhere it won't fade. The marks rotate seasonally; once a mark retires, the cards already minted with it stay rare.

Who's behind it

Lampfern is a small, founder-run operation. The marks are drawn in-house; the tees are pressed on demand by partner studios in North America; emails are answered by the same people who built the site. There's no marketing department to ask about a new mark — there's us.

What we're trying to build

A small program that lets people make something with their own words. Heavyweight cotton, water-based ink, recycled mailers, rotating marks, and a quiet email list that only lights up when a new drop is open. If we're doing it right, you'll own one tee you actually like instead of three you don't.
